This half term Year 1's topic is Animal Adventures. They started the topic by getting creative with an exciting kickstart to their topic - making animal masks. Lots of fun has been had by the children already. Which animal is your favourite?
The text that is being used in Year 1 for this topic is 'The Highway Rat' by Julia Donaldson. The children have listened to the story and drawn story maps. There have been lots of new vocabulary for the children to enjoy learning.
