Art and Design

Learning in Art and Design

Art and design is taught across the school as a way of engaging, inspiring and challenging children through their creativity.

They gain understanding and knowledge of using a range of different materials and gain the confidence to experiment, invent and create their own works of art.  A range of artistic skills are taught including drawing, painting and sculpture, and the children learn about great artists and designers as part of their art curriculum.
